No work.
After school I ate cereal and watched my Wolf Eyes DVD which is awesome. I picked up "the fragile" by NIN, "blood money" by Tom Waits, "eisdispp" by Negativland, and the first three Ranma 1/2 books at half price books. I love half price books. The negativland album I got is the most uplifting thing I've ever listened to. I loled listening to it the whole car ride home. They're so wonderful. I also picked up a geto boys cd at best buy for like 10 bucks. So I guess it was a good day? I wish I had more people to hang out with or something though. I need a hug.
There is some good shit going on though. VOMITRONICUS is recording soon and we have two shows coming up(probably). One is at Super happy Fun Land january 14th. And the other is in late december at the civic center. Should be silly.

My mom was cool about the cigarettes. Says I'll be a legal adult in a few months and what I do are my choices. Thanks mom.
Anyways, last night I saw Wolf Eyes and Rubber O Cement and it was fucking awesome!
Rubber O cement was insane. It was this guy dressed up in this really creepy bug/dragon/fly costume? And he played a long, heavy looking, metal stick, covered in strings? Ok, describing this band is really difficult. All you need to know is I felt a little bit of fear toward the end of their set, so that means they did well. I honestly thought somebody was going to get hurt. Awesome.
Wold Eyes ruled. Loud as fuck. Brutal. Amazing.
The show totally made my night. There was this really cool shirt but they were out of medium, so I got a small. It's like WAY to small, I hardly fit in it. Now I'm sad because it's my new favorite shirt I'll never be able to wear.
PS - VOMITRONICUS IS COMING BACK.

So, a lot of Bush supporters are really against abortion because it's murder. Wouldn't you think they would be against war also? People certainly die in wars. I mean, yeah abortion is murder but so is shooting a human being with a gun or blowing up a home with a bomb. This just makes no sense to me. I guess it's ok to murder as long as the victims aren't American? Yeah, that must be it, great logic there.
A human's PERSONAL and RELIGIOUS beliefs should have NOTHING to do with the way he/she runs the country. I don't want a president who trusts his God more than his brain. Logic>God. I'm all for people believing in whatever it is they want to believe in but I don't want a Christian president. I just want a fucking President. One I can trust to be logical.
I also think the two party system is bullshit. And if I hear one more person say that voting for Badnarik, Cobb, Nader, etc etc is "STEALING" a vote from Kerry I'm going to get very annoyed. Isn't it great how we can have any president we want as long as he's a Democrat or a Republican? What kind of a choice is that? Oh, it ISN'T one. What's even worse is that when Kerry loses the election guess who's fault it's going to be? If Kerry doesn't win the democrats are going point the finger at Nader. If they don't win this election it's their own fucking fault.
Also, politicians spend so much fucking money campaigning. If they wanted to change the world so much why don't they spend a million or so(ya know, pocket change) to FEED SOME FUCKING PEOPLE. I'm disgusted with the world.

In other news, today is halloween and I'm not remotely excited. That's probably because I have to go to work in an hour and after work I'll probably study then just go to bed. Halloween used to be fun. I did eat a lot of tootsie rolls this morning though. I love tootsie rolls. I don't really have any reason to update. Oh! I held hands with a girl last night! Yeah.
Greg told me Josh got in trouble last night. I hope he's ok.

I love Ashely, but this is just to funny. She just walked offstage during SNL live because the sound crew accidently played a sample her lead vocal track through the PA before the song started. She was all ready to lip sync. The band just keeps playing and smiling. This is hilarious.
I almost feel bad for her. Maybe when her career ends and no one cares about her anymore I could FINALLY get a date with her. Maybe I could sleep with her! I would!

I need to be more positive.
1905 is such a wonderful band. Currently inspiring me.
Lately I'm getting more and more interested in politics. It seems like the more I learn the angrier I get, not sure if that's a good thing or not. I'm learning a lot more about the way things really work and it's all kind of dissappointing. I don't want to get into it though, I'm not in the mood to be yelled at by a bunch of bitter republicans OR democrats. Both parties scare the shit out of me to be honest. Anyways, I really feel motivated to do something positive for the community but I just don't know what I could do. I'm feeling kind of lost. I'd like to start going to food not bombs with Ryan but I don't know if I even have the time to. I need to drive my car less and ride my bike more. Most importantly I need to do something for someone else. I spend all my money collecting cds and records when people are starving. There's a lot wrong with that. I feel confused and I need some wisdom.

The show last night was fun. If you didn't have fun then you probably weren't there in the beginning. If you were there in the beginning and still didn't have fun then something is wrong with you.
I think Vomitronicus did really well considering it was a first time, improv is fun but it can be dangerous. Shane didn't only surprise the crowd, he surprised us. What he did was insane. I'm really surprised no one got hurt. When the water heater fell over, sheesh, classic. SSE set up right after us. A few seconds into their set I got hit in the face and my glasses were gone. Fuck it. I danced my ass off anyways. The crowd was insane. Circle pit for eternity. Machine Gun Romantics came on like 5 minutes after SSE. They rule. Plain and simple. Really nice people too. They drove hella far just to play this show and I hope they thought it was worth it. I had a blast. Some people from Houston came for the show which was awesome. Three bands played in under an hour. If the whole show was like that I would have kept more interest. Punk bands play to long.
After the show some hardcore zine from houston was interviewing SSE. It was weird. They've been a band forever and they're FINALLY getting some cred. I'm glad people are finally taking interest. I hope they tour with MGR and grow a bigger following outside of Houston. Kids around here don't know hardcore.
Anyways, I'm sick of typing. There was other bands, and they were all pretty good too, but the first hour of the show made my night.
